Account Deletion Last Updated: October 17, 2026

This page explains how to delete an account in the WaTrack mobile app (Android package com.appisode.watrack, also on iOS) and the WaTrack website, published by Appisode. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Delete in the App

  1. Open WaTrack and go to Settings from the main screen.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account".
  3. Confirm with "Delete". Your account is deleted from our servers right away.

The App needs an internet connection for this. If deletion fails, nothing is removed and you can try again.

2. Delete Without the App

If you no longer have the App, email info@watrack.co with the subject Account deletion request. To help us find the account, include at least one of the following:

  • The phone number you saved as your own number in the App.
  • The customer ID shown at the bottom of Settings in the App.
  • For a web account, the email address you sign in with.

We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, pairing codes, QR codes, or card data.

3. What Is Deleted

  • Your account record, including your own phone number, language, and sign-in sessions.
  • The phone numbers you track, their online and offline history, and your notification settings and push subscriptions.
  • Your WhatsApp linked-device session and its encrypted linked-device state. WhatsApp is also told to remove the linked device.
  • Premium entitlement records stored by WaTrack and any reviewer access grant.
  • From App version 1.0.3: this install's ad-measurement data at Appstack (the App asks Appstack to delete it) and the app-event attributes stored with your RevenueCat customer record.

4. What Is Kept, and for How Long

  • Purchase and subscription records held by Google Play, the App Store, RevenueCat, and Stripe, kept for as long as tax, accounting, refund, and fraud rules require, which can be several years. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in Google Play, the App Store, or the web billing portal first.
  • Limited security, fraud, dispute, and legal-request records where we are required or permitted to keep them, restricted to that purpose.
  • Encrypted backups, which are overwritten on their normal cycle.
  • With App versions before 1.0.3, or if the App could not reach Appstack: ad-measurement data at Appstack (Android always; on iOS install data, and the IDFA only if you allowed tracking). Ask us by email to have it deleted.

Uninstalling the App only removes data stored on the device. It does not delete the account on our servers.
